Taking the Superhero Universe Global
As a copywriter for DC Comics, I wrote social media content for the company’s largest franchises, developing platform-native storytelling that translated cinematic worlds into daily cultural moments. My work shaped how iconic characters appeared on Instagram and TikTok—balancing narrative-driven posts, launch-focused momentum, promotional content, and fan engagement to sustain excitement around major releases.
For Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, I led social copy across the film’s campaign lifecycle, from trailer launches and character introductions to behind-the-scenes content and premiere-week amplification. Each piece was crafted to reflect the film’s epic tone, expand its mythology, and keep fans engaged between tentpole moments.
Overall, my work strengthened DC’s digital voice through copy that was authentic, culturally fluent, and cinematic—crafted to engage both superfans and newcomers and spark conversation across platforms.
